Retreating darkness
Light now slowly reclaiming
Losses of winter.

Barren
You rage against me
Simply because I exist.
Windswept barren sand.
Within the heart
Strange torturous song
Delight, anguish born anew
Without it we die.
Girl’s Life
Girls spendĀ
Much time
Debating their lack,
Chewing their soul
With vigor.
Always some fault,
This culture determinedĀ
To keep their place
Defining them
By false
Inadequacy.
I feel love
I desire my life
Overflowing everywhere
Centered upon love
Evening
Upon evening’s curves
Attention drifts longingly
Over her dark eyes
Hiding No More?
Facing outwards now,
Introspection no longer,
Hide no more: Act!
Balance
Graft and corruption,
So many thumbs pressing down
Exploitation’s tools.
Progressing forwards
Today’s anger spent
I seek to make things better
Progressing forwards.
Winter
Cold wetness seeps in.Ā
Clothing’s heaviness intense.Ā
Seattle’s winter.
