Today’s Haiku

the rain grows warmer
slowly the plants awaken
the season's motion
I saw this little blossom on my walk today. Right before the rains started. It’s was cold, then damp. But I was equipped, so it was pleasant. Not a bad way to surrender a Sunday afternoon.
Today’s haiku
this gentle rainfall
droplets sparkle in the light
while spring approaches
I created this haiku with TikTok’s built in tools. Then I posted it to Instagram amongst other places. These are lots of fun to create.
Anyway, I hope you had a good “extended Monday” (yesterday was the President’s Day holiday in the US).
Today’s Haiku

as sunlight passes
gently through the morning clouds
moving towards the spring
Another exploration into Adobe Express. I find it an interesting competitor with Canva. Pretty straightforward to use, and integrates well with the Adobe system.
Today’s Haiku

I hope each of you has a lovely Sunday and are set up for a productive week.

An evening haiku

as the night descends
sunlight drifts through the mountains
and dawn's grip loosens
Today’s Haiku
afternoon sunlight
gently drifting through the trees
winter progresses

Daily Haiku, February 3, 2024

winter moves forward
gently, gently towards the spring
already hints abound
Went for a walk this afternoon and saw this bud on a tree. Seems a bit premature, but trees are not logic based creatures.
