Walking at night: a haiku

Tonight’s haiku
walking through the cold
feeling the grace of the night
soon the rains return

It was a good night for a walk. Brisk air was mitigated by my jacket. My main challenge: being near invisible to the passing cars. But most of my walk was far off the main roads. Thus, my key sensation was tranquility.

Tonight’s Haiku

I came up with this one on my walk this evening. It was a clear night, and the air brisk.

The image was pulled together with Canva, and the rest done with TikTok’s app.

Autumn’s Approach

I found this flower along the Edmonds Waterfront on my walk yesterday afternoon. It’s one of my favorite places to be.

I hope this finds each of you well. May you be refreshed and energized this weekend.

Today’s Haiku Challenge: Waves

On Twitter, er, X, the user @Bleu_Owl posts a daily prompt “Haiku Challenge”. Today’s prompt is “wave”. The above is my contribution. I hope you enjoy it!
