rain passed by
sun moves through the clouds
vigor of the bees

through spring rains
flowers forced to wait
for summer's delight
birds greeting the morn
becoming more boisterous
as the light moves west

just before sunrise
the voice of a single bird
before my tea's brewed

blue sky memories
blossoms caressed by sunlight
your voice in my dreams

gentle spots of white
upon the yellow petals
moving in the breeze

sun upon petals
once the gentle rains have stopped
the joys of this life
