gentle spots of white
upon the yellow petals
moving in the breeze
poetry, prose, and photography
I adore the simplicity, as well as the challenge of Haiku. The constraints focus my mind, seeking out the essence of the moment, feeling, notion, distilling it to brilliant singularity.
My goal: to post at least one haiku a day.

gentle spots of white
upon the yellow petals
moving in the breeze

sun upon petals
once the gentle rains have stopped
the joys of this life

moments of sunlight
bees spreading their joyful wings
spring's life renewing
sitting with my tea
where I am quite dry and warm
amidst the rainfall

the morning rains fade
clouds dancing upon the breeze
and, slowly, sunlight

walking through the woods
sunlight's joy reaching downwards
recharging my soul

garden's delights
feasting upon sunlight
and spring rains

dawn moving past clouds
sunlight caressing petals
awaiting the bees
