Once I dreamt of boats
A vision of opulence
Now just nausea
Off to the side
He sat watching her
Dancing with another man

Dawn comes earlier
Rain tapping on the sunlight

Listening to the Spirit of Compassion
We love violence
This spirit of compassion
Still calling to us
Rainy Drives in Seattle
Rain falls in this town
The most regular event
And still we can’t drive
