a day of sunlight new life gracefully drooping hints of spring's return
poetry, prose, and photography
I adore the simplicity, as well as the challenge of Haiku. The constraints focus my mind, seeking out the essence of the moment, feeling, notion, distilling it to brilliant singularity.
My goal: to post at least one haiku a day.

into the night's sky
dreams drifting amongst the stars
silent of the dark

after winter's pain
graceful hints of spring's sunlight
trees awakening

walking in sunlight
enjoying the new found warmth
springtime approaches

sunlight has faded streetlights shimmer in puddles watching the cars pass

brisk winter air
sunlight through darkening clouds
colors reaching back

dancing in the grass juncos feeding in the rain what do they ponder?
