through the sunlight
colors burst forth
ever so briefly
Summer Roses
summertime's motion
as petals grow and then fade
the grace of sunlight

underneath the trees listening to the birdsong as the sun descends

moments of summer
petals briefly in the sun
then fading earthwards

rising to meet the dawn
within my garden

a single blossom

dancing upon these petals
always seeking grace
