Morning Haiku: March 18, 2026

listening to rain

this gentle patter flowing

calm morning darkness

kindness's beauty
gracefully upon petals
amidst the dew drops

living in this world
of malice and cruelty
let's magnify grace

awaiting sunlight 
car engines join their choir 
the motion of life

waiting for dawn
eastern hills remain dark 
rattling raindrops

as gentle mists fall
streetlights flicker through the dreams 
the song of the night

mighty moose minions

mitigate mouse munitions

mad malevolence

I opted for something alliterative today. And something absurdist. Just wanted to have some fun. I hope it amused you like it did me.

the bumblebee lives
underneath the same sunlight
as the hummingbird
