In dark woods thriving
Nourished by the richest earth
Glorious nature
Distasteful flavors
Yet I find them beautiful
With potential death
poetry, prose, and photography
In dark woods thriving
Nourished by the richest earth
Glorious nature
Distasteful flavors
Yet I find them beautiful
With potential death
Gregorian chant
Reaches deep within my soul
Carries me upward
My body burning
This evening of taekwondo
Strengthening my heart
Seeking richness
And depth
While our culture
Celebrates and delights
In the vacuous,
The superficial,
The inane
Gently, gently,
With greatest care
I dream we can bring
A love for grace,
Dignity, compassion
If you like what you just read, give it a like, read more, and leave a comment.
I learn so very much
When I shut up and listen
I wish I knew how
To do that
More often
Morning rainfall
Multiple circles birthed
Moisture collected
Embracing your dreams
Live a life filled with purpose
The reward is joy
At this late hour
My mind prattles forth nonsense
Memories break free
