summertime waning
nights slowly growing longer
yet days remain warm
So, apparently today is my 16th anniversary on WordPress! I’ll take this as a sign to get back to work over here.

as the sun rises
emboldened the colors
joy within my tea
within summer's light
something catches my eye
bees upon petals
in this sunlit field
petals gracefully reaching
towards the birdsong
within the sunlight graced by cooler air a gentler mood
early morning
awaiting dawn's grace
time for some tea
summer's moving across the sunlit sky blessings of flowers
memories of night-lights
fearfully trembling
in the darkness

gigantic lilies
at the edge of the sidewalk
bathing in sunlight
upon these petals
this bee feasts upon nectar
