Compassion
Gentleness descends
Compassion’s greatness saves me
Branches bloom anew
Thanks
My great readership
Creates in me happiness
Delight in sharing
Flowing
Force directing things
Little impedes progress
Thus motion, nearly continuous,
Captures my attention
Pulls me close
I cannot escape the
Pleading gaze
My choices speak
To life’s future
Me.
Compassion’s Call
Compassion’s call loud
At the center of my life
Spring’s gentle rains calm
Achoo!
Pollen’s brutal quest
Tear my sinuses apart
A sniffling mess
And Finally Sunday
This day of resting
Rejuvenating our beings
Again preparing
Saturday Calls
Outside beckoning
Summoning us towards action
Joyous rigors: life
And now Friday
As our labors slack
Passions which enrich our lives
Finally given air
Thursday
Thursday, Friday-eve
I can feel the weekend’s breath
So close, yet not yet.
