Autumn light
through the autumn chill
light drifting through clouds and leaves
glistening off rain
Halloween’s Descending Sunlight
past the western trees sunlight's grace descending near night's joys begin soon
a break in the rain sunlight hides behind the clouds the cool autumn air

autumn rains fade
sunlight returns to the sky
brown leaves resisting
cold rain through my shivering droplets like diamonds

under autumn rain with cool air calming my soul an autumn rose grows
