As Dusk Progresses

as dusk progresses
the moonlight's grace emerges
while I gaze skywards

This photo was taken with my Samsung S22. I am often amazed at what I can shoot with a phone camera nowadays.

slowly opening
sunlight hidden by the clouds
such gentle motion

between the rain squalls 
sunlight mellowed by the clouds 
petals unfurling

after the rain squall 
laden branches bent downwards 
gravity's demands

after the sunset 
fir boughs moving in the breeze
the windchimes singing

barefoot through the grass
with the dew cooling my toes 
breeze through the blossoms

after the rainfall
droplets gather on petals
sunlight through the clouds

crows calling 
through the morning mists 
petals gently fall

modern dilemma 
I see all my hopes and dreams 
behind the paywall

Summer heat has been running strong this week. Today was a respite. 20 degrees cooler than yesterday with a gentle rain. A nice bit of relief.

I took this photo just outside of my office this morning. It seemed perfect. I enjoyed the moment, at least.
