A moment rain-free
I move across the sidewalk
While summer calls me
poetry, prose, and photography

A moment rain-free
I move across the sidewalk
While summer calls me

On this summer’s day
Sunlight flowing down to me
And gluttonous bees

Watching the sun set
And the sky’s colors redden
This feeling of home

On this mountain trail
Bees feeding upon flowers
Mists clear from the peaks

As I look upwards
These leaves’ beautiful pattern
A sign of illness

Rain falls gracefully
Flowers forgot the sunlight
This moment passes

Honey bees feasting
Sunlight flowing from the sky
Such summer delights

such a brilliant day
those I love accomplishing
sunlight reaches me
Today I watched dear friends test for their blackbelts, and followed that up with graduation parties. The beauty of growth delights me deeply.

My feet move in rhythm
The sun hidden by the firs
Summer’s not here yet
