frost upon the grass 
dawn progresses

sunlight warning my cold hands 
suburban living

the morning darkness
dawn still below the mountains 
as I seek stillness

rain's sparkling jewels 
gently illuminated
under the streetlights

as the grey clouds move
an autumn storm approaches 
brutally cruel air
