Autumn Rain

ah, within this rain
gently drifting down my roof 
this night's lullaby

I shot this photo yyesterday while on a walk, using my Samsung S9. Quite a versatile camera on my phone.

as I look closely 
during this pause in the rain
gemstones on the leaves

cold autumnal rain
moments of tranquility
as I sip my tea

after the rainfall
sun remains above the clouds 
autumn's progression

raindrops on roses
jewels glisten upon petals
after autumn rains

within the stillness
rain flowing across the roof
bringing me to dreams

these tenacious leaves
their grip strong through wind and rain
while the air grows cold

through the Autumn rain
jewels beading upon these leaves
I'm exhaling fog

within falling rain
I stop my walk to gaze at
this resilient rose

a pause in the rain
walking while there's still sunlight 
greeted by a rose
