Nature’s not mocked
For she holds all the power
We are but trifles
poetry, prose, and photography
Nature’s not mocked
For she holds all the power
We are but trifles
Monday’s pain now past
The other days have blurred by
Now Friday is here
In the morning dark
Intense rain’s forceful pounding
Rattling gutters
I awoke this morning to an intense downpour. More like the Philippines or Florida than Seattle.
Strangeness surrounds us
So much unbelievable
Such a crazy life
Mindless reaction
Chasing after to-dos
Lost within motion
Confusion masses
Up against the edge of mind
Sanity a mess
Within us echoes
Of creation’s firey song
Spring’s ruminations
