Halloween’s Descending Sunlight

descending sunlight

past the western trees
sunlight's grace descending near
night's joys begin soon
rose in the rain

a break in the rain
sunlight hides behind the clouds
the cool autumn air

Raindrops on leaves

Raindrops on Leaves

caught in a rain squall
wet clothes press upon my skin
still I look closely

Rainy Day Flowers

This is my response to a haiku challenge on Twitter. This photo was taken on my Samsung S9 earlier this month but in weather similar to today’s (here in Seattle, at least).

Within the sunlight

Light through the trees

within the sunlight
drifting through the mists and firs
life under the trees

Word of the Day: Postponed, A Haiku

tonight's wind delayed
postponed by the twists of space
