sitting patiently
on tendrils of autumn mist
another fly’s doom
silk architecture
abandoned upon my porch
a cold autumn wind

Tenacious Leaves: A Haiku
these tenacious leaves their grip strong through wind and rain while the air grows cold
Jewels made by the rain
through the Autumn rain
jewels beading upon these leaves
I'm exhaling fog
Resilient Rose
within falling rain I stop my walk to gaze at this resilient rose

a pause in the rain
walking while there's still sunlight
