Thank you, Amanda! My journey with photography started decades ago. I recommend just starting. You don’t need a fancy, expensive camera. I bought my first camera at a second-hand store, and most of my current work is simply done on my Samsung S9. Between YouTube and blogs, you can learn a lot without even a single class.
