A Rainy Saturday Evening Haiku

daises in the rain
water dripping from my hat
the wind’s memory

wind chimes

early morning darkness

birds sing to my tea

Everyone else is asleep in my house. I’m very fond of these quiet moments. I hope all of you are safe and healthy.

sunlight flows downwards
fir trees grasping towards the clouds
a gentle spring breeze

my movement is life
concrete underneath my feet
sunlight through the clouds
