A haiku from this evening’s walk

trees not quite bare
murky fragrance delights
cool air calms

A view from my evening walk. I opted, from my choices for exercise, to walk. I needed to clear the buzzing from my mind. Which always feels worthwhile.

Under a Streetlight

under a streetlight
leaves gently flutter
stillness

I do love this one so, both the photo and haiku. I hope you do, too.

Memories

Down from my window

Thousands of lights, lives

Alone before sleep

Remembering nights alone in my apartment looking out over the city. Not an elegant view, but I y think Kerouac should’ve been comfortable.

Visions of Winter

These brightened hillsides
The darkness lightened by grace
Firs shrug off the weight

Hear the night's language, Moving between streetlights
Far away laughter

Nightly Haiku, October 30, 2019

The still tree’s branches
Memories of autumns past
A street light’s halo

Views from my Walks: Tonight’s Haiku

Walking past this church

Light searing into the sky

Quiet song of nights

You Are Wonderful: Tonight’s Haiku

You are wonderful

Celebrate all your beauty

Leaves upon the breeze

Pleaee, always remember how wonderful you are. Celebrate it, delight in it, share yourself with the world. Make it a better place.
