I am my brother’s keeper
Or, at least, so I try
Though difficult
Deeply worthwhile
Youthful Memories
I look north
At familiar trees
Memories of youthful sorrows
This MorningÂ
A plane overhead
My tea slowly cools
Today, a funeral
Another week endsÂ
Another week ends
Silence folds into my home
Rest is so welcome
