This winter’s day
Manic busyness

The sun collapses
Into itself, within dreams

Remembering songs,
Falling earthward from the stars,
Gracefully dreaming
Lost within ego
Lost within ego
Raging thoughtlessly again
Painful to my heart
As I grow older

I shall resist feebleness
