First Day of #Autumn, Tonight’s #Haiku

The blooms speak boldly, Boisterous in the sunlight,
Now but memories

Well, today’s autumn. So I brought iut a photo from one of my walks last week. The weather was much nicer.

I hope your fall is fantastic.

A Friday Night Haiku

Friends are beautiful
Easy as riding a bike
Graceful connection

I hopped into Canva looking for inspiration, and found this template. Bicycles delight me, and friends are wondrous. The haiku felt pretty natural with all those pieces coming together.

A #Haiku about #traffic

The night is waning

Light slowly filters through clouds

Steel now starts flowing

Happy Thursday everyone! Or, shall I say, Friday-eve.

Thinking about flinging myself into the jaws of grinding steel and plastic that’s Seattle during rush hour.

A photo and a poem from the Edmonds Waterfront

A walk through the dark
Moving over the boardwalk
The quiet’s beauty

I enjoyed editing this one. The texture is wonderful, at least to me.

Tonight’s Haiku

Though the air has cooled

These flowers resist autumn

Sunlight’s grasp waning

I took this photo in Edmonds, a small town north of Seattle. I’ve lived most of my life in its orbit. My heart has a dear place for this place.

Autumn’s Approach: Tonight’s #Haiku

With summer’s end here
And the rain’s song calming me
I now seen brown leaves

The past few days have truly felt like autumn. Rainfall, in particular, reinforces that for me. I hold many cold and soggy memories, for that is the lot of Seattle folk.

Walking this late morn
Past the flowers and produce
Summers end draws near
