under the sunlight 
wheels turning over miles
moving through cold air

in cool winter’s rain
wheels turning as I ride
motion in silence

I spent many a day
Cycling in the rain
Seattle is my home,
After all

I must admit though
That the rain’s allure
Has waned
With these achy joints

Sunlight’s going strong

Though the day is closing out

Still time to go bikev

Wind across mountains

Dancing across rocks and mud

My wheels delighting

Vibrant sunlight flows

This region’s beauty delights
