Today’s News

News can bring despair
Focusing of misery
Losing sight of “good”

Riding on the wind
Touching the sky with great ease
Much like Icarus

Grey skies have returned
Hints of autumn on the wind
Trees yet filled with green

And now it’s morning
Awakened and seeing rain
Feeling very grateful

Sun descending slow
Another life unit gone.
Another week starts

The madness of time.
Activity raging forth;
Life thus vacated.

For so many years
This house felt the deepest Iove
And now it’s your turn

I seek compassion,
Please let the gentleness flow
From my marrow’s core

Always seek escape
Surviving is paramount
Exhausting way to live

A vision I have
Help focus upon beauty;
Antidote for pride
