As I glance skyward
Into this summer evening
Moving towards nightfall
Dusk
As night descends
Summer’s air cools
I enjoy tranquility
A moment, flowing
Quickly, as life
Demands attention
Westward colors
Embrace the sky
Smoke, and other
Things, transcend
To beauty
Summer’s Evening
In the park’s silence
Evening’s calmness filling it
Summer’s light fading
Sunlight Wanes
Embraced by darkness
Sun’s now behind the mountains
Seattle’s beauty
The escape of dreams
The night has fallen
My dreams seeking to escape
Perhaps fear? Or joy?
