March 10, 2020: Cherry Blossoms

more sunlight each day
and the grace of warmer days
cherry blossoms bloom

New Opportunities

life’s changes
new opportunities
cherry blossoms

I saw these blooms at Edmonds Community College today. I am moving forward with my career transition plan. My current position ends Friday, and I’ve grown weary of being let go all the time. So I’m going to study Web Design and Development. This excites me deeply.

Forward, always moving forward.

Summer's Remnants: A Haiku
Though autumn is here, These elements of summer, Surviving the wind

I saw these flowers amidst the cold breezes of the past few days in Seattle. Flowers have a fierceness to them, don’t they?

First Day of #Autumn, Tonight’s #Haiku

The blooms speak boldly, Boisterous in the sunlight,
Now but memories

Well, today’s autumn. So I brought iut a photo from one of my walks last week. The weather was much nicer.

I hope your fall is fantastic.

Tonight’s Haiku

Though the air has cooled

These flowers resist autumn

Sunlight’s grasp waning

I took this photo in Edmonds, a small town north of Seattle. I’ve lived most of my life in its orbit. My heart has a dear place for this place.
