Walking in the Rain: A Haiku

walking in the rain
memories of icy winds
glories of wool coats

sun upon the clouds 
skies clearing after the rain
brief moments of joy

rain upon my skin
underneath the cloud's motion 
red Chinese lantern

the cool winter's rain
gently descends upon me
these branches laden

starlight fading
frost upon the grass 
dawn progresses

walking under clouds 
sunlight warning my cold hands 
suburban living

the morning darkness
dawn still below the mountains 
as I seek stillness

rain's sparkling jewels 
gently illuminated
under the streetlights

Snowy day

autumnal snowfall 
graceful motion in silence 
stopping soon enough

snow flurries
through the streetlight's gaze
silence
