The world existing
Entrenched brutality deep
Sunlight clears the fog
Childhood’s Collapse
Daily decay’s
Raging presence
Death’s fragrance
Fills me deeply.
Then that morning’s
Ragged breathing,
Brutal truth of
Impending silence.
Migraine’s Doom
The pain
Is all
That I
Am
Migraineur
So begins doom
Tendons within the neck
Pulled, slowly, growing
Into ferocity, mercy unknown.
Powerless, collapsing within.

To exist upon the other side.
