Welcome to September: A HaikuĀ

This new month begins

One that brings lots of changes

Now it’s September

Seasonal MotionĀ

And so I’m falling
Forward into each season
Brewing energy

I find myself anticipating each new season’s arrival. The excitement wears off, though. Fortunately, new things come each change.

Blessings to you all!

Goodbye August

Now it’s striking me

That August will end today

September? Oh, my!

Seasons change, life flows and evolves. Sometimes we get to notice.

As Fall Approaches

Being from Seattle

I look forward to the fall

Cool air returning

The Changing SeasonĀ

Boys training
Football season nears
Air cooler this morn
And wet fog upon glass
Autumn’s inevitability
Soon, so soon

Summer’s ApproachingĀ

Languid summer days

Sweetly flavored ice on sticks

The joys of childhood

Bird Song – Spring MorningĀ

I awoke to bird song

A bush awash in voices

In this darkness: spring

A Haiku for a Winter’s Night

Strength of winter’s touch

Intensely brutal grasping

Life’s fluidity

This Winter’s Night

This night’s song calming

A tranquil winter’s night

For I am indoors
