I am pulled from sleep
Insecurities fight me
Destroy happiness
poetry, prose, and photography
I adore the simplicity, as well as the challenge of Haiku. The constraints focus my mind, seeking out the essence of the moment, feeling, notion, distilling it to brilliant singularity.
My goal: to post at least one haiku a day.
I am pulled from sleep
Insecurities fight me
Destroy happiness
The sunburned stars Destroyed by the daylight Longing for night’s reprieve

This little market
Speaking to me of summer
Gentle memories

A fierceness within
Combining with dignity
The King of Narnia
My old memories
Seated upon the sidewalk
Watching a kid’s game

I face towards the light Abandoning fear’s embrace And moving forwards
Facing down my fears
Resisting despair’s summons
Living by my terms
