Autocorrect’s cruel
Embarrassing word choices
Is it self-aware?
With its malicious intent
Man shown as inferior
Finding Balance
Seeking out balance
I am the light and the dark
Embracing the Zen
Once I LISTENED to Music
No longer
Do I listen deeply
Pulling apart
Words, lyrics
Melody
Harmony
Trying so hard
To embrace
A song’s
Soul
Fireflies
As the firefly
Moves across
The darkness
Leaving a trail…
Moments fleeting
Into memory
Then mist’s winds
Drag them
Beyond the treetops
Up to the stars
A view from my commute
Within the hard rain
Atop steel tree; watching
A hawk sits, hungry
The sun has set
Sun set a while ago
Darkness fills the air
Comforting: I find it so
Freed from sunlight’s care
A Wretchedly Wet Day
This wretchedly wet day
Dankest dreariness
Spring’s misery
Exceeding the expectations
Of even Eeyor
Morning Rain
Roof rattles
Grinding force
Flowing earthwards
Each droplet unites
Living planet’s power
All consuming
A Rainy Monday Night
Rain gently falling
The night pushing forwards fast
My weary mind droops
