Cherry Blossoms

within gentle mists
the grace of springtime bursts forth 
new cherry blossoms

the joys of springtime
boldness of cherry blossoms
the rain grows warmer

within the spring rain
sunlight still feeding new life 
dancing in this breeze

life renews 
hints of leaves coming forth
the rain grows warmer

before the rainfall
feeling the grace of sunlight 
these wonders of spring

winter's grasp lessens
flowers reaching towards springtime
bird's renewed vigor

a day of sunlight
new life gracefully drooping
hints of spring's return

into the night's sky
dreams drifting amongst the stars 
silent of the dark

after winter's pain
graceful hints of spring's sunlight 
trees awakening

walking in sunlight
enjoying the new found warmth 
springtime approaches
