A Rainy Evening Haiku

Moonlight hides from me

Behind the rain laden clouds

Spots on my glasses

A Transfiguration

Light across the cloud
The eye of God looking down
Changed when it meets me

A Gray Morning

Today’s gray morning

Eventually sun will win

With afternoon warmth

Tonight’s Magenta Clouds

Evrning colors speak

Calling forth the rising moon

Dusk’s magenta clouds

A Seattle Morning

High clouds greet the morn

Birds call, seemingly calmer

More subdued, perhaps

Sound absorbed by clouds

Gray skies soothe me, though

Relieved of garish sunlight

Amidst the Clouds

Sunlight flowing through
Drifting amidst white cloud fluff
Gently warming me

Strange sunlight drifts downward
Forcing it’s way through clouds
Blurring, blunting the force
Yet the strength remains.
Burning, passionately,
Reddening that which it
Desires. Gentle appearance
Hiding so much destruction.
