Good Night

Sunlight exhausted
Sky bound colors delightful
Quietude calms me

Another day now
Laden with expectations
Misty rains linger

Knowledge’s power
Dimensional awareness
Mathematical dreams

Walking through sunlight
Warmth flowing across my skin
Happy spring is here

One must face fevers
Upon which success depends
It needs more cowbell

A storm faces me
Destruction; my own making
Irrational fears

Embracing the now
Eliminate distractions
Staying focused

Sunlight flowing through
Drifting amidst white cloud fluff
Gently warming me

When fear arises
Tranquility’s clarity
And vision distort

Avoid regret’s pangs
Each day born of potential
Growing towards the sun
