Morning Coffee

Up I am, facing
Today, boldly stepping out.
Coffee is my friend.

Do not be so quick,
Refusing the healing touch;
Fear not the unclean

Voices always loud
Malevolent tone continual
Believes this is just

Upon my hands flow,
Dust of dreams and winter’s touch,
Autumn’s rain cleanses.

Strength without love
The deepest failure, sadness
Abounds; emptiness

One key goal for us,
Remove the drainers of joy,
And replace with love.

Fear less and love more,
Great advice from a wise one
Internalize this.

Glorious blinking lights full
Of potential and power
Yet, sunlit live wins.

Here’s wishing all you
All the best of life’s good things;
Glorious Friday!

Upon life’s river
Flowing gracefully downwards
Or crashing rapids
