The night moving now
It slides up, embracing me
poetry, prose, and photography

With the sun’s motion
And the light starting to fade
Night’s calmness coming
Fears and darkness
Which the night births
Then magnifies
Calmed by
Daylight
So ends the weekend
Sunlight behind the mountains
Dawn is coming soon

Evening has arrived
Listening to classic jazz
Spring rides the starlight
A gentle breeze blows
Branches scrape against my house
This brusque goose-like cry
Startles me abruptly
