Light, Love

Like something
Jane Austen would’ve wrote,

Dancing around edges,
Flickering, flirting, motion,
Seducing me, drawing me
Closer than I should;

Then I would dare if I were
Rational. But that mind
Sleeps on the edge of
Where darkness meets
Light.

Encompassing Oblivion

I seek the oblivion
Of knowledge

Within the finite emptiness
Between yin and yang
Exists everything,
I long for.

I won’t seek to tame.
If anything, it’s your
Flame that appeals
Burning bright against
Dawn’s light. Glorious
Destruction.

Plato’s cave reverberates
My eyes adjust to the light.

Worry

Amazing to me
The transference of worry
To another’s child.

Love’s ability to move
Intertwining deep within
Joyfulness abounds.
