Wednesday Morning Haiku

These peaceful moments
Walking in my neighborhood
Sunlight upon clouds

Today’s Haiku : July 1, 2020

daylight dances
petal to petal
hummingbirds sing

Haiku, June 22, 2020

petal dynamics

unfolding in the sunlight

grace in thankfulness

Haiku: May 29, 2020

blossoms falling

bees move to the next bloom

my feet on concrete

An evening haiku : May 27, 2020

the sun through the trees
lovely warmth upon my skin
while junkos fly past

My evening walks have been a key element of my sanity during these trying times. The weather’s been lovely, so this walk has been truly wonderful.

A haiku from this evening’s walk

below the sunset

and the glorious red sky

soon the songbirds sleep

Moving through my neighborhood, a suburb of Seattle, as the sun does as it must. Gravity’s handiwork across this sky. Rain started to fall as I neared home.

A Drippy #Seattle #Haiku: #NaPoWriMo2020

Another photo from my walks. This tree really impressed and delighted me, especially with the fading light.

Another damp day in quarantine here in Seattle. How’d you day go?

#NaPoWriMo, April 16, 2020

Camelia in April

under the sunlight
the seduction of flowers
bees singing their song

moving through darkness
still hints of dusk through the trees
birds dreaming of dawn

Tonight’s #Haiku From This Evening’s Walk

While walking this evening for exercise and mental clarity, I came across these blossoms.

sunsets through the trees
gently, the birdsong ending
a heron in flight
