Sunlight’s holding back
Eastern mountains soon will glow
As this day begins

A Friday Night In The Suburbs

Birds break the silence
No cares for propriety
Suburbia’s charms
I hope your Friday night we lovely. Tis now time for slumber to dominate.
Walking Alongside The River

After days of rain
The river’s running quite high
An eagle watching
Tonight, As Sleep Approaches
Exploring Home
I seek out beauty
The glories of Washington
My ancestors speak

This Sunday Afternoon
A first thought this early mornÂ
A gentle breeze blows
Branches scrape against my house
This brusque goose-like cry
Startles me abruptly
A Seattle Morning Haiku

Seattle’s grey skies
Though they filter the sunlight
Bring me peacefulness
Reflecting From Stone
Staring at myself
Wetted marble captures me
As I seek balance
If you’ve been to Seattle’s Pacific Science Center, you’ve probably noticed the marble sphere balanced upon water. A perfect equilibrium which allows for an ease of motion; it can be shifted with one hand.Â
