Sunlight on my skin

Fading into memory

Darkness approaches

A little haiku to end your week:

Upwards I see stars
Flickerings in the darkness
This cold winter’s night

A #haiku for this #cold, #winter’s, night

An Autumn Night At The Shore

Underneath the moon

And this glorious sunset

Autumnal beauty

Tonight: A Haiku

Sitting in the dark

Reflecting upon this day

Springtime and pollen

Sunset at Meadowdale park
Sunset at Meadowdale park

Tonight’s Sunset: A Haiku

The descending sun
Vibrant colors bursting forth
With life resetting

Went for a walk this evening. Met my Fitbit step goal, got some lovely photos, and did some thinking. A great way to spend an hour.

Dusk

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

As night descends
Summer’s air cools
I enjoy tranquility
A moment, flowing
Quickly, as life
Demands attention
Westward colors
Embrace the sky
Smoke, and other
Things, transcend
To beauty

The sun has set

Sun set a while ago

Darkness fills the air

Comforting: I find it so

Freed from sunlight’s care
