Myself: A Poem

In many ways a drifter
Yet not all who wander are lost
Explorations manifold
Myriad cities’ secrets
Whispered in my ear

This place, Seattle
A home, yet not so
Birthed far from here
Yet it’s the orbit of
My life’s journeys

Asia holds my heart
Though footprints left
Vanished by now

Love remains
Surrogates found: joy

Building rich connection
Community found
I rejoice
