When I said “haiku”
The response was “gesundheit”
Healthy poetry?

Anxiety and Mindless Guilt

Our hearts torture us
Pronouncing us quite guilty
Anxiety’s cruel

What will that day like?
Beyond my imagining
So far forward
Where my name
Will have faded
Into the realm of dreams
This notion brought about
By my misplaced fingers
Where will I find home?
Seeking the place where the mountains meet the sky
Where water rises to my feet and the sun warms
My bare feet resting wrapped in the sand
Despair Lies
Thinking about evenings, flowers, and just being done

The day’s heat fading
Sun obscured by these fir trees
Tasks finally done
This evening is done. Didn’t get everything done I wanted to, but I never do. Such is the way of things for me I guess.
Tonight’s haiku: about seeking tranquility
Spring Is bursting with life
Spring Is bursting with life
Plants calling the bees forward
Seeding the future

This flower is in my garden. Its one of many.
QUOTE OF THE DAY #33
Something I’ve long known: “What you focus on expands”. Another example.
