sad how often
I struggle
seeking what’s
in my
heart
poetry, prose, and photography
sad how often
I struggle
seeking what’s
in my
heart
I sit, listening
My negativity fades
Bird song in sunlight
Clothes,
Simply…
Just clothes
Arguments burst forth
And I cant….
Children fighting
Like this thing
Defends innocent
Lives
No willingness to
Give, to attempt
Anything outside
The preconceived
“I won’t find
ANYTHING” in this
Place I’ve not yet
Seen.
Frustrated at my
Failure…
No understanding or
Trusting in my
Experience
All I’ve done
All I am;
Worthless
I am tired
Weariness wins now
Slumber seduces me
I wake upon my couch
Those who pursue war
Will doubtlessly find its wares
Collected anguish
Evening has arrived
Sunlight forcing itself down
Trees in their glory
light trickles through blinds
dawn’s handiwork is complete
charm of backlit trees
This morning burns bright
Sheltered from it at my desk
A breeze blows gently
