Thankfulness series: Family

My family’s love

Pushing me to keep growing

Enriching my life

November’s Theme: Gratitude

It is November

We focus on gratitude

Growing our soul’s grace

Seems appropriate, the month of Thanksgiving, to focus on gratitude. Today’s haiku sets the stage, reminding us of the value of gratitude,  of connection, of interdependence.

We love to quarrel so

We love to quarrel

Satisfied with petty spite

Yet the sun will rise

Seeking Growth

With deepest rigor

I am always seeking growth

Autumn leaves still fall

Today’s Motivation: The Best Time To Plant A Tree

I find myself doubting my past, second guessing my choices. This quote, this proverb  reminds me of the pointlessness of that behavior. That I need to keep my eyes in the now, on the future. And so I get up and move forward.

Lessons about Winning

I struggle to see

That “not losing” and “winning”

Are not the same thing

I’ve been working on myself lately. Adjusting my.mind, embracing the possibilities, and releasing all the fears lurking within, holding me back.

The Light Is Born

Within the darkness

Are the parents of the light

Violent beauty

An Energizing Haiku For Monday

So, I’m seeking out

An inspired, joy filled life

Vibrant energy

I hope this new start, into a new week, comes filled with promise.

A positive haiku for your Tuesday

A new day begins

Full of opportunity

Don’t let your fears win

Seeking Tranquility

As I still my mind

I’m seeking tranquility

In this autumn night
