Flavors of China
Dancing upon my palette
I can eat outdoors
Tonight’s haiku is about dim sum.

Rain falls gracefully
Flowers forgot the sunlight
This moment passes

I’m facing westwards
And mountains cover the sun
A sweet summer night
This one was fun to make. It makes me quite happy.

Honey bees feasting
Sunlight flowing from the sky
Such summer delights

Walking through this town
A reminder of our past
And union power

My feet move in rhythm
The sun hidden by the firs
Summer’s not here yet

Even though it’s rained
Summer’s breath still dominates
And sunlight has returned

Love this reddened sky
The darkness bringing cool air
Summer’s antidote

Nights power rising
Warm air freed from the cloud’s grace
Wakefulness waning
