He knows how it feels
One tree within the forest
Grasping for the light
poetry, prose, and photography
He knows how it feels
One tree within the forest
Grasping for the light

Another Sunday
The day’s faded to darkness
Summer’s heat waning
Away through the woods
I wonder about these tracks
Are they neglected?

Time drifting forwards
Relentlessness it’s main thing
It will always win

Motion of the stars
Life is constantly changing
Though all appears still
Sunlight has vanished
The summer night’s heat disturbs
My dream’s stay silent
Listen to the surf
The wave’s eternal motion
Lulling me to sleep
Serious precautions
I am deeply frustrated
For I’m still sunburned

The road goes further
Without places for dining
And the food was good
Exploring Hawaii, We went to a place called Southpointe. Ostensibly the southernmost pointe in the US. Hana Hou, the restaurant above is little ways away.
Nearby is a place called Paradise Meadows, which I found charming. A handy pit stop, with locally grown coffee and macadamia nuts. I enjoyed chatting with their collection of parrots.
