Sunday Morning Haiku, February 16, 2020

dawn’s light with pink hints

birds wake and continue life

a sauntering cat

A Haiku From Today’s Walk

an afternoon stroll wind dancing upon the clouds my mind and soul clear Walking clears my mind. Always helpful and healthy, at times critical to my mental health. And health is a 2020 priority.

Tonight’s Haiku: February 14, 2020

so much I recall

sunlight streams in through windows

chatter of songbirds

Memories of joy, of sadness, all flow at random moments. When my mind floats free I rediscover history, these elements within, forgotten but not lost.

A haiku about self doubts

garbage in my brain insecurity’s drivel damaging my dreams So many negative feelings. Why things lije self doubt dominates our brain cycles eludes me. But I seek to overcome this.

Seattle Pre-Dawn: A Haiku

jet growls overheard

with rain falling gracefully

awaiting the dawn

Sitting here, finishing a poem, while preparing for my day.

A Lunar Haiku

at this brief moment

the clouds dancing with the moon

as winter deepens

Such a lovely moon this evening.
